Winter Olympic Games, Salt Lake 2002 (USA)
Project Management
Almost 2,000 athletes from 77 nations competed at the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games at which 22,000 volunteers were used. Intevo’s responsibilities included:
Olympic Games Medals Plaza – Live Site / Fan Park
- Operations planning and Games-time management of the city centre “Fan Park” where all medals ceremonies were held and featuring nightly concerts with an audience of 10,000 spectators.
- Planning integration with Salt Lake City authorities, and external agencies for a comprehensive Area Management Plan.
