Games Security Staff Planning (Volunteers and Paid Staff)

Intevo personnel had an ongoing role working with the Olympic Games Security Division during the planning phase to support the workforce planning function, as follows:

Expert Input, Review and Support:

• undertaking staff headcount analysis
• review of workforce roles and responsibilities to identify cost savings through targeting of overlaps, shortfalls and excessive staff allocation
• providing review recommendations regarding overall headcount and ways to promote more efficient staff use
• developing the staff scheduling system to be used across the security operation

Intevo personnel worked with the Organising Committee to support initial workforce planning, as follows:

Workforce Planning Review:

• conducting Staff Review meetings across all functions
• development of Workforce models (Excel based database)
• identifying overlaps, shortfalls and excessive staff allocation
• providing recommendations regarding reductions in overall headcount.
